Qavah, rooted in the Hebrew verb meaning "to bind together" or "to twist," paints a vivid picture of intertwining our lives and hopes with God. This concept an active, faith-filled posture of waiting, looking, hoping, and expecting. As we embrace Qavah, we trust that God will act at the perfect time, renewing our strength as beautifully illustrated in Isaiah 40:31: “But those who wait (Qavah) for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall and not be weary; they shall walk and not.”
Our Story
Hi, I’m Ilda Peña, and I started Qavah Ministries with a passion to walk alongside women facing unexpected pregnancies. This calling was born out of a desire to be a source of love, support, and hope for young moms navigating what can feel like a lonely and overwhelming journey.
At Qavah Ministries, we believe that an unplanned pregnancy isn’t the end of the story—it’s the beginning of something beautiful. Our mission is to provide practical resources like baby essentials, mentorship, parenting workshops, and emotional encouragement. More than anything, we want every mother to know she is loved, valued, and never alone.
With Christ at the center of everything we do, we’re here to remind women of their worth and identity. Together—with prayer, community, and compassion—we’re building a safe and empowering space where moms can thrive, not just survive.
